Approaching 360 Feedback The York Consulting Team, Inc. is a full service provider of 360 degree feedback interventions. We can manage your entire 360 degree feedback program, partner with internal resources to support current processes, train internal resources to be self-sufficient, supplement your efforts with surveys and reports, and/or assist you in responding to high volume situations.

Scenario 1: Building Leadership Capabilities

Your organization is growing, experienced leaders are approaching retirement, and your next layer of management succession is not yet ready fo rthe added leadership responsibilities. A 360 degree feedback instrument is designed to reflect ideal leadership characteristics. Feedback is obtained from those people who work with each individual, asummary report is prepared, and a professional coach provides insights, models, and tools to assist each leader in achieving his/her potential. The process begins at the top of the organizatioin and cascades through levels of management, followed by subsequent rounds of feedback on an annual basis. Managers use their feedback to build individual development plans.



Scenario 2: High Performance Workteams

Your organization is moving to a high performance work system. Employees have been accustomed to working only in areas of functional expertise, responding to hierarchical requests, and focusing on individual achievement. A 360 degree feedback survey is designed to reflect new skills and behaviors associated with successful high performance workteams (e.g., cross-fucntional teamwork, open communication, and empowered decision making). Members learn how to give and receive feedback during training sessions; feedback is collected from colleagues, customers, direct reports, and supervisors. Action plans are created to improve teaming capabilities. A group summary report provides direction for a corporate training agenda and measures progress over time.



Scenario 3: Executive Development

You are an organizational leader facing challenges with your leadership effectiveness and with cooperation among your direct report team. Confidential, in-depth, individual interviews are conducted with a select group of your peers, direct reports, and internal customers to identify themes representing your key strengths and high leverage opportunities. An executive coaching agenda is designed for you, followed by a team feedback meeting to share themes, reinforce strengths, and align on an action plan to turn current opportunity areas into future strengths. You participate in a series of one-to-one consultatioins to bild skills and solve current work challenges.



360 Feedback Services

Project Launch:  We consult with internal sponsors to develop in a 360 degree feedback program best suited for your organizatioin. This includes designing a surbey to align business goals and leadership competencies; determining readiness and roll-out plans; providing overview training and support materials; and building the role of internal sponsors.


Survey Distribution and Report Preparation:  We distribute and receive surveys primarily through an on-line web-based process, making it easy for your people to participate. Individual reprots typically include average scores, color bar charts, stardard deviations, and synthesized comments.
