Karin has been a consultant with The York Consulting Team for over six years. In addition to consulting, she brings with her 10 years of experience in high technology, marketing, and management. Karin specializes in management coaching, 360 Degree Feedback, group and team facilitation, teambuilding and Myers-Briggs.

Karin has held a variety of sales and technical marketing managerial positions in small start-up and large high tech organizations. Karin spent six years working in a division of Rockwell International, where she held the position of Director of Support Services. She also spent a number of years at Cadence Design Systems as a Marketing and Relations manager, where she managed the technical and joint marketing relationship with Digital Equipment Corporation, Sony and Silicon Graphics. Some of Karin's recent consulting clients include Second Harvest Foodbank, Pacific Bell, IBM, Skillset Software, and Chevron.

Karin holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a marketing emphasis from California Polytech State University in San Luis Obisbo, a M.A. in Organization Development from The Fielding Institute, and a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational systems from The Fielding Institute.

Karin is certified in the Myers-Briggs and has taken a variety of other specific trainings, including project management, cross-cultural business with Japanese companies and conflict management. Karin is a member of the Organization Development Network and ASTD.
