Stuart Pivnick, Ph.D.
Stuart is a senior consultant with The York Consulting Team with over twenty years experience in Human Resource Management and Organization Development. He specializes in change management, teambuilding, performance appraisal systems, leadership coaching, and 360 Degree Feedback. Stuart’s extensive experience and education enable him to customize his work to accommodate the unique challenges faced by individual clients and systems.
The majority of Stuart’s work has been in the health care and telecommunications industries. Recently, he was the senior consultant for a new start-up telecommunications organization, where he was responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategy, building a performance team and creating a team driven culture. In addition, Stuart designed and facilitated management teambuilding retreats and provided ongoing leadership coaching. Stuart has over eleven years experience in the healthcare industry, serving as a change management consultant, assisting in reengineering efforts, human resource services and strategic planning for extensive Customer Service Call Centers. He was the Director of Change Management and Training for several years and dealt with senior executives on matters relating to organizational vision, design, culture and re-organization efforts.
Stuart received both his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Organization Development, as well as his Master of Arts in Counseling and Organization Development from Northwestern University. Stuart helped design and implement the Master of Arts program in Organization Development at the California School of Professional Psychology and has taught numerous classes at Northwestern University.
He is a member of the Organization Development Network, American Psychological Association and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
