Thomas G. Cross, M.S.

Tom joined The York Consulting Team following his highly successful career as an Executive at Pacific Bell and AT&T spanning over 3 decades. During his career he served as the Vice President and General Manager with P/L responsibilities for several multi-billion dollar Business Units, responsible for managing a workforce of 8,000 employees who provide telecommunications sales and service to more than 3.8 million Pacific Bell residence and business customers.

Tom brings his unique talents as an organizational leader committed to developing a results-oriented management system, cross-functional workteams and organizational excellence aligned with the Malcolm Baldridge frameworks. His executive level experience and expertise in the telecommunications industry enable him to effectively help other executives with strategic planning, organizational change initiatives, and leadership coaching. Tom has been a client, colleague and consultant with The York Consulting Team. He knows what it takes to enable people to change behaviors and to move organizations through large scale culture change efforts.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering form California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University.

Tom has served on numerous community Boards including the Economic Development Corporation in Bakersfield and the Business Roundtable in Fresno. He is currently Chair Elect of United Way in Sacramento. His professional focus is helping to build leadership and organizational capabilities in non-profit and private sector businesses.
