Make A Difference
"Do the things that really make a difference, change or eliminate all the rest"
During a 2-3 day session, participants will be challenged to address issues specific to their work unit by:
- Working together to develop work process improvements
- Collaborating around tough business problems and recommending cost-saving solutions
Objectives:
- Eliminating costly, time-consuming and unnecessary work (e.g.,F.I.S.H.)*
- Focus energy and activities on customer satisfaction
- Increase functional and cross-functional teamwork
*So.....what are F.I.S.H.? (Foolish, Insipid, Stupid, Habits)
- Work processes which get in the way of meeting our customer's needs
- Redundant work which causes several people to do the same thing
- Unnecessary approvals which cause time delays
- Meetings that do not add extensive value
- Work that no longer serves any valuable purpose (even though at one time it did)
